Previews Blogging: April Edition - Everything Else
23 April 2010
Every month, I go through Diamond's Previews to figure out what I want. From now until, I will blog about what I see that catches my attention. Keep in mind that most of my comic buying consist of #1s, collected editions (hardcovers or TPBs), or OGN (original graphic novels). I buy #1s to see if it's something that I will get later in a collected edition.

This covers everything else in Previews.

Page 218: Cerebus Guide of Self Publishing Expanded Edition (Aardvark/Vanaheim)
As a comic book self publisher, I'm really interested to see what new material does Sim have that's included in this update. Even the $18, isn't enough to chase me off this time.

Page 224: Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard #2 (of 4) (Archaia)
It's Mouse Guard so I'm getting it. Even though I'm sure that Archaia will publish a hard cover, I'm getting all the singles. This issue features stories by Gene Ha and Sean Rubin (as well as Mr Petersen).

Page 250: Robert E. Howard's Hawk of Outremer #1 (of 4) (Boom!)
There are very few Howard characters that I like beyond Conan, but I am willing to give them all a try.

Page 252: Darkwing Duck: The Duck Knight Returns #1 (of 4)
Darkwing Duck was one of my favorite cartons growing up. he is the terror that flap in the night. I just may splurge on this one and get the $25 HC if it's offered.

Page 287: Legend of Percevan: The Seven Seals
This the 4th book int he series the Legend of Percevan. This is the first time I've heard of this book, so I'm off to seek the others! It looks like an English translation of a French series. I really wish we got more reprints of European works in the US.

Page 294: Stardrop Volume 1 GN
This new book by Mark Oakley made me realize how much I missed Thieves and Kings. Time to save up my coins and buy the entire run of books from M'Oak.

Page 310: Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files Volume 1 GN
If this was in hard cover format, I would definitely buy it and the others that are sure to follow. In SC, I'm not sure it's worth while to me.

...and that's it for this month.
Join me next month when I do this all over again.
